Skins you haven’t seen yet! Look what we’ve dug up!

Meet the coolest debut collection of 2minds studio (Thiago Lehmann and Lulu McAllister).

“2minds” in collaboration with Anna “Zaph” and Arthur Palmera previously had created the Tarot collection including the famous “Empress”, the “Emperor”, “Justice” and “Mortis“.

We were so impressed by Glock-18 called “Bullet Queen” that was released as part of the Prisma 2 collection that we decided to show you the entire War Maidens collection.

There are speculations that after the biggest part of the Tarot series, almost the entire War Maidens collection will be released. Details below!

Meet the key character of our today’s post!

Glock-18 | Bullet Queen

A playful babe on a yellow background puts her finger to her lips: “I’ll stop shooting when you start shushing”.

The creators say that the girls on their skins are the avatars of the guns, which they are painted on. Well, this must be a very frisky Glock then! The skin will definitely become a real gem of any collection.

Where else can we find avatars and talismans? Look at the old ships!

In distant times the bows of the ships were often decorated with figures and wood carvings, which were supposed to show the character of the vessel and its owner, attract good fortune, protect sailors during long journeys, and even guide the crew to the afterlife if the ship goes down.

Over time, graceful sailing ships gave way to huge metal monsters, and the romance of the seas was replaced by the romance of the sky.

The first aviators adopted the traditions of sailors, which led to the emergence of the so-called “nose art”, when the front part of the aircraft was adorned with various paintings.

Just like sailors, pilots turned to be quite superstitious and often showed their addiction to all kinds of talismans and lucky charms.

You probably remember all those pin up girls painted on airplanes in the 40’s, but the tradition of decorating aircrafts started already at the dawn of the aircraft industry.

It is considered that the first nose art was an image of a sea monster painted on a flying boat. Unfortunately no pictures of this boat have survived, but there are a lot of photographs from the First World War, when the heirs of the noble European families, who came to the aviation from the cavalry, decorated the fuselages with their family crests or regiment coats of arms.

For example, Italy’s top fighter ace Francesco Baracca chose a prancing horse as his talisman.

War Maiden

Yes, it was that very horse that still prances in the stables of Scuderia Ferrari. Countess Baracca, the mother of Francesco, has invented the famous Ferrari logo and advised her son to adorn his airplane with an image of a prancing horse. It seems like it was really a lucky charm.

We love horses but let’s get back to the girls! The first images of naked ladies appeared in 1917 on the planes of Russian aviators!

Newpor-23 fighter from the 22nd Corps Aviation Squadron of the Western Front with the first known nude painting on the plane.

At the end of the First World War and the Civil War, it seemed that the tradition of painting aviation equipment had gone, but in the second half of the Second World War, after Soviet pilots gained air superiority and the American allies entered the war, the tradition resurrected. This time the paintings were censored by the army command and the pilots started to adorn their planes with images of predators and birds of prey.

But there were exceptions.

“Airacobra” of the squadron commander Nikolai Proshenkov. A complex composition of kill counts and two female portraits.

The front part of the plane is adorned with an image of a girl pressing her finger to her lips. Doesn’t it look familiar?

Most likely, this image had been applied in the USA where the pin up painting was at its peak.

In the US, aircraft paintings were especially popular among bomber pilots, who were at greater risk and wanted to protect themselves with talismans and lucky charms. Images of girls on the fuselage were supposed to attract good fortune.

P-47 Thunderbolt with Lady Godiva holding a machine gun.

Beautiful and deadly.

F-4B Phantom adorned with an image of Ratlin’ Rita, a beauty painted with a rattlesnake in her hands.

Boeing B-17F “Memphis Belle” is perhaps the most famous nose art painting.

Memphis Belle

And here are five of our fighting girls.

Each of them, except for “Bullet Queen”, is accompanied by a totem animal and funny bullets. The creators call them Bullet Boys. There are 65 of them including a golden one, who is hidden somewhere on the pattern. You know them, they are always somewhere nearby helping you hit the target. But don’t let them get into your head!

Meet our deadly beauties!

P90 | Midnight Bat

The first one is a girl with a spiked bat. What is she grinning at? Look, there is another bat – a purple vampire! We are sure that this couple will bring you good fortune and lots of frags.

M4A4 | Last Smile

A playful pirate girl with pink hair and a snake tattoo smiles at us from the body of the rifle. Who is her companion? An attacking snake, of course! It seems like Ratlin’ Rita has changed a bit. With such a talisman you are hard to scare.

AWP | Gotcha!

The tattooed girl on the rifle body has a different support group – two cute little doggies.

Gotcha! You cannot escape from such company.

Galil AR | Fire Stripes

The body of this Galil AR is all in flames with a grinning dark-skinned girl in the middle of it. A tiger next to her also shows his teeth, but keep away or he rips you into pieces!

We wish the skin would be released as soon as possible. Galil AR definitely has a lack of beautiful skins.

And while waiting for the new skins to be introduced to the game, improve your inventory with CS.MONEY.
